We creative and enthusiastic teachers and we will be planning many exciting hands-on lessons that will make learning fun.We will create a productive classroom environment that is structured and organized. As your child’s third grade teachers, we will be committed to ensuring your child’s educational success. The lines of communication will remain open through a monthly newsletter which will keep you informed about what is going on in the classroom. We will also be posting some information that you may find useful on the class website. We will work with your children to help them grow both academically and socially while incorporating the Montessori Philosophy. Who We Are |
Hello! My name is Vivian Zarmakoupis, students call me Ms. Z. I graduated from Oakland University with my Bachelor of Science and my teaching certificate in Elementary Education. In the next couple years, I will continue school in getting my masters and furthering my education. This is my second year at Mount Clemens Montessori Academy and cannot wait to start the school year.
My favorite things to do outside of school is listening to music, having fun with family and friends, and trying to cook a decent meal! My favorite season is summer and am sad that the weather is becoming cold again. Last year, I took a class called 21st Century for Teachers which was held at Macomb's ISD. I learned how to use technology into my classroom and how that works best for today's society. My Digital Portfolio is at http://edublogs.misd.net/21vzarmakoupis/ if you want to learn more information about my technology class. I will be incorporating these skills and techniques into this new school year. Again, I am very excited to be teaching third grade again and to be apart of Mount Clemens Montessori Academy! Please feel free to email me with any questions, concerns, or comments at [email protected] |

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Erin Bassett, students will know me as "Ms. Schreiner" from Computers last year. I'm very thrilled to be teaching third grade and cannot wait to learn and explore with these kiddos!
I graduated from Central Michigan University (Fire up Chips!) with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Soon I hope to further my education in teaching. This will be my second year here at Mount Clemens Montessori Academy. I enjoy a variety of activities outside of teaching. Some of these activities include: spending time with friends and family; traveling and experiencing new sights; cooking and trying new recipes and making crafts. My favorite time of the year is summer because of the sunny weather and barbecues. My goal as a teacher is to help each and every student reach their fullest potential and to make learning FUN! I'm always seeking new ideas and concepts that appeal to students both as children and learners! I am looking forward to what this year has to bring and continuing to be a part of the MCMA Family!
